Works of animal photographer will be sold for charity

Today residents of Kiev will be able to dip into wild nature world. In capitals’ gallery animal photographer Andrey Gudkov will present his arts, says radio “Киiв 98 FM".

Huge photos of animals from Africa and Indonesia will hang on walls. Everything can be purchased. As exhibition is charitable, all money collected will be given to children’s’ homes of Kiev.

“Works will be presented in big scale 90X90. There will be zebras, cats, orangutans” said director of travelers’ club Olga Glinina.

Life will be shown in a zoo

On Jun 20th the Kiev zoo will hold unique photo exhibition “Life on the planet”, dedicated to conservation of rare flora and fauna species. All money earned will be given to Ukraine’s children’s homes and boarding schools, report “Evening Kiev”.

Particularly, works of well known Russian photographer, animal painter Andrey Gudkov will be presented at the exhibition. He has been travelling for 3 years in search of vanishing beauty all over Congo, Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana, Indonesia (Sumatera, Java, Sulawesi, Borneo and Komodo), New Guinea, France, Germany, Great Britain, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands and Middle Asia.

Svetlana Berzina, director of capital’s zoo, say that photo exhibition’s goal is to attract attention of visitor not only to necessity to treat environment carefully but to a need to take care of deprived kids who are in need of help and love.”Firstly, the action itself is very captivate – imagine, now many interesting things can discover citizen of Kiev and guests when seeing photos with rare animals, birds and plants from different cornets of the world. And secondly, the project is very important as social action, all means collected at the photo exhibition we will grant to support children’s homes, and they are always of need of funds”, told Svetlana Berzina.

The author, Andrey Gudkov, assures, that many people today do no notice the beauty of nature, therefore it is so important to open their eyes wide on everything beautiful around us . "We must preserve natural riches for next generations, by moving from weapon’s sight to sight of photo camera. World around us is changing very fast and photographer’s task is to try to catch and show to people this vanishing, exceptional beauty, that diversity of life forms, which humankind still can see ", Mr. Gudkov mentioned.

Exhibition “Life on the planet” by photographer-animalist will open in the capital

Exhibition “Life on the planet” by photographer-animalist will open in the capital Today, 20th June, in the gallery of “Assistance to Art’s Development Foundation” will take place opening of charitable exhibition of Russian photopainter, animalist Andrey Gudkov named “Life on the planet”.

As site of Assistance to Art’s Development Foundation reports, artistic photos of animals made by A.Gudkov in different countries including Western Europe, Russia, Africa and Middle Asia will be presented at the exhibition. The exhibition is charitable therefore all mean earned on sales of photo works will be given to support children’s homes of Ukraine.

Amimalism in photography is specific genre of shooting animals in their natural environment. This is uneasy genre form the point of view of expedition’s organization, which require special licenses to photography. And specific knowledge of shooting object, i.e. animals.

Citizens will be able to see exotic animals from all around the world. The exhibition of known Russian photographer, animal painter Andrey Gudkov, opens on Friday. Photos can be seen free of charge until 26th June in the gallery Frolovskaya str, 1/6 from 11.00 till 19.00.
